Need an Official Docket or Record?

The case's court determines the right clerk. For a case search, use Nebraska JUSTICE and then contact the appropriate Washington County office with the case number, caption, year, and the document or date needed. A public terminal at the courthouse is another search route; a certified record remains a clerk request.

• County Court traffic, misdemeanor, preliminary, probate, small-claims, or ordinance case: contact County Court Clerk Vicki Kuhlmann at 402-426-6833.
• District Court felony, major civil, domestic-relations, protection-order, or related case: contact District Court Clerk Susan K. Paulsen at 402-426-6899.
• Current court date: check the Multi-Court Calendar, then verify a near-term setting with the clerk.
• Plain or certified copy: give the clerk a specific case number and document request. The court must confirm copying, certification, and delivery details.
• Restricted or sealed material: ask the clerk for the lawful request route rather than seeking confidential content through a general search.
